whin 463
can do in diverse weather conditions kennel dogs are more used to the cold and weather than soft house dogs at times , saw dogs who dont like rain nettles bushes only want to catch game in nice open feilds, most good dog men keep them out side in decent runs , and look after them well, saw house dogs looking at wild weather at times and having to be leashes out to go or if they are rabbits in netteles etc pass them buy for amore desperate kennel dog ,best place for them is out side Quote Link to post
Guest 2GOOD
hi there is there a diffirence in the way a dog works wether it lives in the house rather to a kennel cheers will it effect there working skills i would say yes after the other night out ,i went to show some one how good my dog was ,because this person was looking for a dog to line his bitch ,my dog looked a twat ,he had a few runs and mised every one ,usualy he would have caught them ,i will add ,the moon was up a bit ,it was also quiet with thick fog ,and there was 3 of us ,plus my dog could not stop craping he had a bad guts ,but i put his one and only terible performanc in 6 years down to living in the house ,i cant seem to find any other reason . AL BUNDY 45
if its in the dog it will work whether its kept inside or out. Quote Link to post
Flamin'Nora! 50
out in the run during the day in at night then you get the best of both worlds its harder for a dog theif to steal a dog from a house and no it doesnt affect working ability but house dogs kept in the warm arent as resistant to the cold as dogs kept outside all the time so a cool part of the house or turn the radiator off in the room the dogs kept in will help. mikeyboy 7
makes no difference at all to the way they work. i no blokes who keep them out and sum in. when they go out do exactly the same job. most of the time its not the dog that is crap its the owner. good dog men have good dogs wankers have shit dogs. atb mike Quote Link to post
hullhunter 219
mine was kept out side for about 4 weeks then some wa**er tryed to rob her since then she has been kept in the house. her working ability is outstanding. if you came to my house during the day you would not beleve she was a worker the way she is around the house and with my kids(they have rode round on her back and she dont batter an eyelid) pluss the otherhalf spoiles her to bits. so as to you Q no i dont think it makes a diffarance at all.oh and as for nettals they dont bother her if there is quary she will have a go at getting it were eva it be in beambles, jumped into a ditch or pond and ive even seen her trying to get up a tree after a squarrel Quote Link to post
sambam 8
kept both in and out and imo i dont thik it makes a difference, i very rarly have the heating on and somtimes i can see my breath its that cold, just put a jumper on lol ( im a tight twat), the dog somtimes shivers in the house and when out wind rain snow hail dont seem to bother him that much, i prefer my dog in the house its good company as im not workin atm plus im out mooching alot Quote Link to post

smiffyuk2003 5
my dogs lives in a kennel in the cellar, and window is left slightly open most of the day.. not as warm as up in the house but not as cold as a outside kennel. there only pups so time will tell. but i dont think it matters at all. only my opinion though. atb...smiffy Quote Link to post
