my dog escaped from my garden on the 24th feb ,he,s a half cross greyhound bull .black and white 26tts . kids tuck him to the police station ,they told the kids they dont take dogs no more and f them off .want happens then is they have no were to take the dog a it breaks free and thats that .what sort of service is this police force doing ,were talking about a kid of age of 11 ,doing the right thing and being told ,not are problem .am going to local papers with this because am miffed at this . by the way theres a reward if dog returned to me thanks

Think the police have better thinks till do till try and find out you owns a lost dog just ask the kids what they did with it after they left the police and check your local pound how yea find the dog

Hope you get your dog back mate ,,its crap when you lose them ..BUT i can't see an 11 year old going into a police station with a dog they had found and the law just fecking them off as you say ..they would at least at the bare minimum give them your local councils number ( who are now responsible for strays ) if not ring them for the lad to take the dog away

every copper station you go in now has signs all over saying dont bring strays/lost/found dogs in then theres a number to ring fkin idiots man

End of the day its not the police's responcibility (sp) to deal with stray dogs, the council pay the dog warden to do that,

it was all changed after a dog died whilst in the police's kennels, because it was forgotten about,

 

why didnt the kids take the dog home and ask there parents to phone the dog warden,

or why didnt the dog have a tag on, at least then you could have been contacted directly to collect your dog,

 

i do hope you find him - but i honistly dont see the point in going to the newspapers, unless its to put a lost add in.
