ace32 4
should of picked him up straight away and had a look in his mouth,he will of had a bit of bone or something stuck, was he salivating out of one side of his mouth,(drooling ),pays to check your ferts before you box em up,for a trip, and while you collar them up Quote Link to post
byb 0
well he hasnt been doin it since ive been keepin an eye on hem. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
whats the point of using a ferret that is "savage" in your words, if he cant be handled, leave him at home till you can scruff him on the back of neck, he'll open his mouth for you to look at least, then if your not confident about putting your fingers in there, its a trip to the vets Quote Link to post

byb 0
thanks longdog apreciate the offer but as i said seems fine now and i managed to open hes mouth easily enough in the end and saw no signs of anything. checked the other 1 too to get a better idea of what a healthy mouth looks like. n i am handling them regulary one of ems perfectly fine to handle, just the other1 i dnt know perhaps he gets too much meat so thinks im dinner, i can pick hem up easy enough thow.was just unsure about goin near hes mouth.so if being able to pick hem up means hes not savage,i obviously do handle em enough stubby.
