mr maggo 7
anyone heard of dogs having allergic reaction to a multi vit injection, i injected a 30 kilo dog this morning with 1ml and 30mins later he started with head shaking and small lumps appeared allover body before swelling around head. this scared the crap out of me, thankfully it seems to be settling down, just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them
Guest jt750
Give your dog a good diet and it won't need much else. Why were you injecting your dog with multi vits anyway i thought they only come in tablet form TBH

I used to use SA37 with my greyhounds a few years back a teaspoon in with every other feed. They then got so old they didnt need it... got the new pup now so im wondering if its still on the market.Still think you cant beat a good flesh diet and supplement before and during the season to boost them a little
sandymere 8,263
Next time the wind pipe may swell up and you have a dead dog! Why give an injection in the first place if the dog has a good diet it doesn't need it and if its not then an injection won't help!!! high doses of vit A E C have been seen to slow greyhounds race times and slow healing/inflamation reponses Giving an injection makes you feel your doing somthing but it's just that thought not reality its called placebo..
