Alan108 0
Once He's castrated give it about a week.. He'll forget it ever happened and forget what He was messin with her for lol.. it will also allow time for her to come out of season after her jab.. However be prepared for a possible phantom pregnancy and or hormonal changes that will have her dragging HIM around and putting him to bed like a kit.... thanks lorelie, that's the answer,i'll give it a week . Should also say thanks for the other replies as well. Ta. Alan Edited March 2, 2010 by Alan108 Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,935
Hi Dont know if I`ve caught you before you take him to the vet, but I would think about getting him a vasectomy instead of castrated. Same price but means you can leave him with the jills and he will take them out off season for you. Loads less hassle,,,very very handy to have. just a thought. Quote Link to post

ferrety f 23
I've just got two ferrets, both one year old,a hob and a jill, the jill has just had the jill jab,and the hob started to chase her round and grab her,i've seperated them, and the hob is in tomorrow (Tuesday) for castration. My question is, how long before I can put them together again, please. it can take up to 3 weeks for his hormones to settle, then he will be fine. Alan108 0
I have to take him back to the vets next Thursday for a check-up,and the vet told me on Tuesday it would be about ten days before he can go back in with the jill. Alan Quote Link to post
