what age do lurchers stop growing ????

my lurchers are 10 months old now one is 23" and the other is 24" do you think they will grow any bigger

Depends on the cross and the likely size of dog ..small dogs tend to reach their height much younger than a protracted larger breed ...eg beddie x whippet against deerhound x greyhound

i shouldnt think they wil grow much taller, they wil now start to put muscle on for the next year or so. it all depends on the x. deerhounds may still grow at that age but most long dog crosses are done by their first season if its a bitch or by 10 months if its a dog.

When my dog was twelve month old it was about 23'' to the shoulder, Now its 2 and a half hes 25'' half to the shoulder and alot muscleier and bulkier.

A bitch will hit her full height about 14 months and a dog about 18 months but as ppl said it all depends on the breed

Good question mate only thimg is hard answer i just got a 10month dog yesterday and i was thinking the same thing i asked about and i got told you should see the final product at about 18month old mate
