kill um with crisps 7
Once a week my dogs, including the puppy get 5 very small halibut oil capsules, 1 (as there bigger) cod liver oil capsule and half a kiddies vitamin pill. They also get fed a lot of raw meat and a handfull of blended up veg along with the occaisional boiled egg and left overs from my dinner and every now and then a small tin of tuna or sardines each. The puppy also gets a bowl of crushed weetabix with half a pint of powdered kiddies milk with a t spoon of gravy added to it for flavour. I find that all of my dogs are healthy and happy, they dont smell etc and their poo is much better than if i just fed plain old dry dog food. Just wondering what other people do? Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
Put some oil through feed now and again. They get a pinch of horse garlic through the feeding every day, keeps the worms away. FTB Quote Link to post

cocker 2,655
hi my dogs get chicken carcasses, and lamb carcasses, personally i dont feel the need to give them extra calcium, i also give them minced beef mixed with a handfull of vitalin, (WHICH CONTAINS BONEMEAL) tinned oily fish , and the also the ones in tomatoe sauce, lamb, rabbits, beef tripe, turkey necks, again mixed with a bit of vitalin plus cooked veg, and raw eggs, cooked rice and pasta, dog biscuits, and a supplement of evening primrose oil and garlic tablets, fresh water every day, and keep them wormed regularly, plenty of free running excercise every day and then most of all work them regular , and you cant go far wrong, you will have good looking muscular fit dogs, to be proud of, cocker Quote Link to post
