GooseyLucy 2
Hello First off here's the pedigree: Magical Dreams x Moany Moany Sire: 25"/56lb and 21"/28lb - pups will be 3/4 greyhound Here's some pictures of the mating Sire relaxing after all his hard work Dam at 4 weeks again at 5 weeks (yesterday) To say I'm excited about the mating is an understatement. Blaze is my very special girl, as you can see she has only one eye. I was told she wouldn't race because of her missing eye. She went on to win both her Yearling Championships, Golden Jacket Bitch, South Coast and Scottish Titles, National Champion and National Championship r-up. Finishing her career with 3 veteran championships, and 5th place in Top Ten Veterans after only 8 races. Like whip x grey's Non-peds she isn't just a racer and has chased and retrieved various quarry (some less desireable than others when you pass pet walkers in the woods !!!). As I'm sure you can appreciate it's difficult to tell what size the pups will be, I think nothing over 24"/40lb or under 20"/25lb but could end up with as big as sire LOL. Oh and before anyone has a moan (again) I am NOT advertising pups for sale, nor did I last time I posted about this mating. I resent being slagged and then blocked from a site without being consulted. I have never and will never sell puppies to any old bod over the internet. If I were my posts would carry a big FOR SALE message with a price tag !!! Now that rant is over with I hope you enjoy the pictures Debbie I will keep you informed. Elise. Quote Link to post
Flamin'Nora! 50
why are they side to side and not back to back if they are mating in the pics? 1 Quote Link to post
GooseyLucy 2
Simple, didn't let them turn Quote Link to post
Flamin'Nora! 50
why stop them from doing something natural? Quote Link to post
GooseyLucy 2
What's the difference ? Same result Quote Link to post
littlefish 586
Why does that bitch only have one eye? Accident, disease or birth defect? Has it affected the way she works? Good luck with the pups. Quote Link to post
GooseyLucy 2
Hi littlefish, it is a congenital defect (that is to say not genetic). She had a glaucoma and was blind in the eye by the time she was about 8 weeks old. As the pupil had blown the eye became swollen and filled with fluid , she had it removed when she was 6mths old. Really she hadn't known a lot of difference but her depth perception was a little off. She used to run into the washing line post or the door frames in the house with her shoulder on that side. Luckily being a pup she loved to play games so we played catch with big toys at first so she could see them and gauge their distance easily, then we moved onto smaller toys, tennis balls and eventually small pieces of dog meal, she could catch them in her mouth when I threw them for her. As a natural retriever she enjoyed playing with her tennis ball, chasing it and collecting it and fetching it back, soon enough she could pick it up on the move. After that chasing bunnies etc. was never a problem for her as she had learnt how to compensate for her lack of perception. Still walks into the odd wheelie bin on bin day when she's too busy looking at the cat across the road !!! Quote Link to post
