Rocky2 14
I have had the deben Mk 3 terrier finder for a few years now and im thinking of changing to a different locater. I know that the bellman and flint set up is very good but its a bit pricy for me and i dont be digging every weekend. So to any of you that have had experience with the ortovox d1 or d3 i just want to know what you think of them and which would be the best value for money. Quote Link to post

Bryan 1,362
D1 is nice and simple, designed for digging with since 1989. Takes a bit of practice to get used to. D3 is a middle of the road box that you can use to track any 457KHz transmitter. In use it's best to use the side switch to turn it on and off . Bryan collar in any colour once it's blue!
