stabba 10,745 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 Personally i prefer my dogs(daytime)to hunt for themselves.. not only does this encourage use of nose.. but also lets the dogs work out different situations for themselves... also the more free running/hunting they do.. the fitter they will get... atb stabba.. just to add they are run off slips at night time. Same problem here but with hares, my dog very nearly ran on to the A1 after running about 500 yards across a field because she thought she saw a hare squatting! Quote Link to post
