bigearboi 0
wat shotgun is the best for a bit of allrounding ???? Quote Link to post
flytie 1
An over & under 12 bore with 28" multichoke barrels that weighs somewhere in the region of 7.25lbs. With this you can shoot clays, game, wildfowl and if you are young and strong do some walked up shooting too. It's what i bought. If you want to do mainly clays one with 30" barrels might be better, and a little heavier. Mainly game shooting and you could go a little lighter. Atb, ft Quote Link to post

sharp_shooter_sam 0
I'm with flytie on this, O/U or SxS, but your O/U will be a bit better for clays. All the best, Sam Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
To go against what others have said, id go for a semi. My first shotgun was a beretta 391 semi. Basically cos i wanted something which would be good at everything. Clays, pigeons, rough shooting. etc. And, for me, the semi worked out perfect. Its done all i have asked of it perfectly and god knows how many years later, I still have it and its still doing the job. One thing experience has taught me tho, is that some people prefer semis, others prefer o/u`s others prefer side by sides. In my experience, having one of each in my cabinet, is that it all falls down to what you feel comfortable with. Some say sbs for game, o/u for clays, semi for pigeons and so on. But, its all down to what you like at the end of the day. At the moment my favourite clay gun is a sbs. Im the only guy at the clay ground using a sbs atm, but im scoring as good if not better than the average joe down there. But, my favourite still has to be my semi! Quote Link to post
