IF A DOG WAS MEANT TO WEAR CLOTHES IT WOULD'NT BE BORN WITH HAIR :whistling:

i'm not a fan of doggy jackets either mate(unless a medical reason,or extreme temp for a long period,in which case my dogs lie on my gunslip and a sandbag.if its very bad under a jacket :) )

i must say that is a very good looking terrier though :toast: i hope he does what you want of him mate.

i'm all for taking the dogs wherever i go,fishing, walking, car boot sales if it gets them out and steadys their nerves to people and commotion it canty be bad  they are mostly in the car too if i go somewhere.

good lookig dog  how big will he get do you think?

i fish the cotswolds too, mainly manorbrook and cokes, maybe see ya up there, not renewing ticket after this season as work means time is limited for me.

As for fishermen wanting dogs.....ive always took my dogs where ever i can,my previous dog was a shar-pei...an awesome guard dog (pretty much useless at anythin else).,the dog i had before that was staff...my reason for the staff was that i used to fish some dodgy places where tackle thefts were quite common....folk would cut yer lines at night and have it on thier toes with your rods and buzzers,in many cases anglers were waking only to be knocked back to sleep by a big stick......i didnt risk it so got myself a dog that could alert me to any intruders and either have a go for me and or at least id have more time to do sommit about it myself.

my dog now (a plummer) comes to most waters with me,where hes allowed, its nice to have him out, he knows when i come down in the mornin and i got my fishin clothes on, he whines like fook if i dont take him with me...but i enjoy his company anyway,he just mooches around in the bushes and keeps himself occupied, loves chasing herons and gulls off..
