Good old photos Dan i always thought the coonhounds were black and tan dogs or is coonhound a collective name for a groupe of different hounds.I have heard of the blueticks and redbone hounds.atb dell

Poacher, Dan might correct me if i'm wrong but these hounds are Treeing Walkers, if they're not then i stand corrected.

we need to release some coons over here boy's,suppose it would'nt take long to get banned though!!!

from a terrierman/ lurcherman i can see why you'd want them around, but speaking as a professional Huntsman, they're a nightmare, hounds can waste hours in swampy and un-accessable area's just honking around and around, whenever you want one to go up a tree they have the urge to climb up inch wide Twigs that bend over, to which the hounds pick them off like picking cherries, if hounds are not checked for this it can be a huge problem, hounds start dropping Coyote's and Fox's to kill coons because they're much more abundant and don't run as fast and therefore are easier ti catch
