steroids in coursing

do you think that alot of dogs used in coursing are on steroids esp with the prices some people are paying for average dogs.

if i was ever intending to pay grands for something i would be getting a blood test done, i find alot of people want everthing in quick time these days and they would rather pay over the top than put work into something,and that goes along the route of giving dogs anything even if its unethical.

i also dont believe in injecting bitches every month with laura bollin {roids} thats just an excuse in my eyes

i have heard that some match dogs were given steriods and other stuff ,but i dont know how true it is .a few years ago someone paid good money for a dog they seen it run the week before ,then after they brought it never ran any good ,last year someone paid alot of money for a dog that was doing its job and when they got it same thing did nt hardly run any good . now i dont know if theese dogs were drugged up ,[which was said at the time] or the the dogs were just having off days or just would nt run for there new owners ,but the owners before aint going to own up to it

I carnt see it myself a lot of courseing hybreds dont always adapt to the change of ownership and wat was a good dog in the original owners hand some times becomes a mediochre dog in a new owners.atb dell

Some top match dog's do get jabbed before they run fact anything involving money brings out cheat's.... just look at our athletes they jab themselfs up to get that little extra

thats a very good point i think they do inject the coursing dogs just to get that bit more owt of ther dogs . the thing is u will probz never prove it . i think each to there own

Wat with all the crabbing in the courseing world would anybody risk jabbing their dog up and for it to become common knowledge i dont believe it happend maybe the odd time who knows but not with steroids more so with a vitamin i would have thought.

i have heard of dogs beeing blood doped this is were they take blood from the dog freeze it thats to preserve (red) blood cells let the dog build up its blood level again and inject the blood witch has been frozen but thored out back in to the dog

(red) blood cell carry oxygen to the vital organs and muscles giving the dog a extra oxygen count meaning the dog can run and mot burn as much energy

So all they were doing was replacing EXACTLY what they had taken from the dog? The USA olympic cycle team were using this method in the 90's. Think about the blood pressure? the strain on the heart and muscles and the veins and arteries carrying this extra amount of blood through them? bit like over inflating a tyre can have the reverse effect to what you want.

Suspected it was going on in Irish Coursing greyhounds but could nt be proven How many lurcher coursing vans hve you seen fitted out like Boots the chemist? Oxygen bottles were considered the norm,drips to assist the kidneys clear the toxins quicker from the dogs body, anyone hear of a match dog being dope tested? I aint but in greyhounds all semi-finalists in a stake of over £500 were tested without fail
