Guest MOLLY
How many bullX owners actually no what line of bulldog was used in the breeding of there dog???? I do now, thanks to you At the time i got her i had no knowledge of the need to know, i had no real knowledge of lurchers let alone a bull x Bobby Why is it so wrong to want a bull x as a rabbiting dog, surely thats sorta the 'wanna look hard with my hard dog' attitude? Big hard mean fox killing lurcher! (before the ban) .I know exactly what my next dog will be. I'd want another like Jazz....ill probably find it very hard to accomplish, getting a 1st cross as light and athletic, or find the breeding again? Yes i know most/all other crosses will be good if not better for rabbits, but its the whole package i want. I love the bull nature/personality, i think that comes even before her working ability in my eyes....probably the view of a hobby hunter, but who cares as long as my dog is worked, happy and well looked after, and i am pleased with my dog. im slippy 4
if didnt no the true parentish i wouldnt buy enough said......................... Quote Link to post
Guest bobbys back
molly i am glad your happy with your dog,and i to run rabbits, but tc asked a question i answerd it,and i think there are to many bullcross puppy peddlers,as for attitude where is that then, because i wont a dog that can do it all i have attitude,do me a favour run along and censor some one, theres a good girl, Quote Link to post
Guest MOLLY
I was only asking a question Bobby, i know exactly what these dogs are bred to do, but its like saying a saluki x can only be used for hares (before the ban). There seems to me to be too many people who only see the bull x as a penis extension. They have to be hard looking, vicious killers. This will probably be the downfall to these dogs, the same kind of people who helped bring down the pit bull. Actually now i think about it, the kind of people with this attitude = do me a favour run along and censor some one, theres a good girl, seems i hit a nerve I mean ffs...... bobbys back Posted Today, 09:08 PM only way to see if they will work or is to work em on there own and work em hard and sore, and when you have beat the mothers right out of em for a few years, then you know there ready to bred from, MOLL. Guest bobbys back
Nothing wrong with knowing the stamp of dog you want and the route you are going to follow to get it . :11: thats the wrong attitude, chilli, you will be banned, Quote Link to post
Guest bobbys back
right molly that was my answer to top chalker, and the down fall to these dogs will be through the puppy peddlers when they sale the wrong dog to the wrong person,my dogs are under the radar, you dont see them so how will i get them banned,i dont advertise them or blast pictures of them over the net,as for the penis extension, you got cock on the mind, and as for the down fall of the pitbull it was in good hands when it was under the radar,i didnt bring em out,i still have mine wheres yours Quote Link to post
Guest MOLLY
If being offensive is the only way you can discuss the many uses of the breed then i just feel pity for you MOLL. Quote Link to post

Guest MOLLY
We actually have the same views regarding breeding, about quite alot of things actually. Perhaps you dont come across very well in type i dont know, but based upon what you have typed your attitude is horrible. Being told to run along like a good girl is patronising, being told i have cock on the brain is offensive, now tell me again how you cannot understand why i would be offended? How do you think this sounds to people..... the only way to see if they will work or is to work em on there own and work em hard and sore, and when you have beat the mothers right out of em for a few years, then you know there ready to bred from And what is your obsession with moderators deleting etc. Are we not allowed to post views, topics, have discussions as any other member My 1st post was not offensive i simply asked you a question. You are far too quick to jump down peoples throats when they do not have the same opinions as you Bobby, if you cannot reply in a civilised manner then dont expect the same back. MOLL. Guest carra
well i bred a litter of first x bull greys and all the pups are on the ground , all the pups bar one are in new homes i kept the pup i wanted and gave away the rest to folk who i know will work them oops sory thats a lie i sold one of them to a working home for £50 but he wasnt a freind just a freind of a freind ! i bred these pups knowing fine well that the bull i used was of good lineage and he was proven and the grey i used was not a ex racer she was bought as a pup from racing kennels but never seen a track she was bought and brought up as a hare dog (before the ban that is ) she bust a toe and that it how i came about her , shes now in a pet home as for i havent got a use for her no more shes now in her new home for life , ok i used her and i feal guilty for that but when she was with me she was well kept and had a good life ! all that hastle for a bull x pup lol yes ! i went through all that so that i could use the bull of my choice as for ive came to a stage in my life whare i wont pick up the free adds and look for a pup and go buy it sucking in all the shite the breeder tells me , been there done it , always ends up in disaster ! i prefer to breed my own :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post
antg 1,777
its has bein said how important it is to youse the right bull in the makeup of breeding this cross but the dam has to be the right bitch for the job also. i think alot of people are breeding just with the sire in mind. to me the bitch must be of the right charicter and have pleanty of grit and determanation to be conciderd to breed off, as after all she will be 50% of your future offsprings makeup. jmo Quote Link to post
Chaz 6
Completely agree some greyhounds are right manny b*****ds so you can easily double up on this trait if you don`t know the bitch well , same as a lot of greyhounds are bad around other dogs especially non sighthounds , some greyhound studs throw a lot of fighters that never make the track so if you are offered an unraced bitch it could well be the reason is it is a bad fighter so make sure you look at both sides of the breeding not just the sires Quote Link to post
Guest Top Chalker
%99 of the bitches used for breeding lurchers are failed track dogs , how many do you no that have been brought op and worked like a lurcher to see what its charicter is like , Quote Link to post
