Private Eye

There is a very intresting article in Private Eye this week about the Badger Culling debate.

To cut a long story short, they are saying that all the well meaning folk who send there hard earned money to the RSPCA in the mistaken belife that they are a few cearing folk who look after sick animals are being misled.

The RSPCA is now actually a semi-political body and general puppet of the animal rights brigade.

When the issue of a badger cull was raised to stop the spread of bovine TB, a full scale propaganda war swung into action which totally ignored the scientific facts.

It was in fact little better than blatant lies....

They spent donators money of a very expensive media campaign and got the backing of various renta-celebs.

This unduly influenced DEFRAs decision on the matter by using this campaign of lies to get people to lobby the goverment.........who duly bottled it (despite hard scientific evidence) and ordered a "study"

In ireland, a study showed that culling reduced the rates of bovine TB by 96%.....FACT

What I want to know is, why isnt the CA or BASC mounting similar hi profile media campaigns to show these people for what they are.............lying twats who just want to jam there own agenda down our throats.

I am afraid that to me the CA & BASC are nothing but LAME DUCKS.......to put it mildly.

You watch, some top people at CA & BASC will be getting chummy with ministers and it will be feck you lads, pull the ladder up.

From what i understand of the CA & BASC for which i am a member of both, they have to move in these " political circles" to fight the Anti's as this is where they have they're puppets ( Labour MP's in the main).

The aim of these clubs, call them what you will,is to protect fieldsports against a twisted enemy who will not be easily defeated. The RSPCA are involved in a massive media campaign against perciefed animal cruelty, that means against anyone who hunts, shoots, coarses, fishes and farts. They are not going to go away and have to be taken on at every level.

Have them waste they're money on legal expenses etc, vote out politicians who are anti field sports, its not that easy.Because some of these MP's wear a red rossette, some folk seem to think they are champions of the community and vote for them. Most of them are career politicians who are only out for themselves.

Vote the b'stards out at local and General elections, visit they're surgeries and let them know what you think of them, look into the tw*ts eyes and take note of how he looks down his nose at you, thinks YOU are scum, smiles and then shows you the door.Safe in the knowledge the electorate are so brain washed he'll be there for a good few years yet.

Like Chris says, its easier to do and say nowt...............so who has visited they're local friendly anti hunt MP then ?

I hope more publications like Private Eye get involved in something like this, its the only way the greater public can ever get hold of genuine, unbiased information.A sad reflection of a great nation.

If the conservatives were in power the ban would probably never have happened, whether we will ever see hunting again as before ? i don't know.

Will we ever see Badger control in this country with terriers ? i very much doubt it.

If we do f*ck all about these idiots in power at the moment we wont be able to walk a dog down the road, let alone let it off a lead.of that i am fairly sure, and when i say dog i mean working dog,not poodle.

i reckon a few years ago it would have been madness to contradict anything the rspca said, because they were THE authourity on animal welfare. the tide is turning, though.. they have changed dramatically from the 'good old days' far more political and completly biased. but its still a brave move to go against them, in the eyes of the general public, anyway. but let them continue to dig themselves a hole. while they are sidelining themselves, the CA dont really need to join in (though it would be nice..) in much the same way as the tories are growing in popularity not through doing anything, but just by letting labour hang themselves, the time will come for the rspca to reap what they are sowing. sooner the better

I do not believe for one minute the torys will bring back hunting. They have said they will 'look into it', to me thats their way of keeping us sweet.

Im sure that is already in force (if not, there was talk of it) not just working dogs, any dog, if you have 3 (may be less i cant remember) or more dogs under your control you are not allowed even one of them off the lead in a public place.
