You cant actually "train" a terrier to do its job,what you can do is make the right moves with it when its learning,theres some rights and wrongs that will help no end and go towards making a good dog,staying can be "taught" or helped along a lot,but what with one thing and another on here lately i dont feel like sharing hard earned knowledge with some people.

i can tell some think your wanker that think he nos evey think so what do you do then when your on a dig and the farmer got live stock in the field so dont you train the terrier to keep a way from the live stock then you dick cos last thing you want is the dog locking on to sheep ect and the farmer come to see how you are geting on and the dog riping is live stock apart you nob

jd its the same down here ,young lads sre nearly starting to dust off the shovels and clean the locators and get the dogs fit again ,ready to dig all the hard cubs .They wont dig when they should cause its too cold and the ground is too hard for them
