The one 8,467
Pick it up on the end pins then hang it on the rafters in the garage on two nails and lay the end pins across these it lets it dry wont tangle up and everytime you pass you will pick some crap out it Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
Personally I would not go for 2x100 yard nets. But break it down into more useful sizes something like 1x50 4x25 5x10 yard nets same total of net, that will cover almost any situation you would come across during a days ferreting. I would go for 4z the idea of the net is to tangle rabbits, the finer the net the lighter it is, and the easier it tangles rabbits. Once you read Martins book your first question will be answered also. TC Edited February 24, 2010 by tiercel Quote Link to post

TC i have some 4z purse nets and they are a real trying to untangle ,dont want same problem with long net, thinking maybe 6z would improve tangling a bit. Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986
To be honest you have to be some kind of idiot to tangle a long net. I would not use a 4z purse net even for a bet, the same goes for a 6z long net, they are both useless. The 4z is too light for a purse net and the 6z is too heavy for a long net. Just trying to give you some sound advice. TC Quote Link to post
