terriers ans spaniels should be docked really.my pup that i bred is but my vet will do them,its a joke that you cant get them done by your vet. there is absolutly no reason why they shouldnt be done.there isnt even any blood.clowns!

Wouldnt have one! Undocked tail= costly vet bills when the tail gets damaged.

ive been asked to privide a certificate when i got my pup, and registered him at my vets. not by the vet. by the RECEPTIONIST. i showed her the cert, and she stamped off muttering about it being a bloody shame.

i was asked when i took mine for his jabs by the vet(no micro chip=not legally docked) if i had the address for the breeder, i told him i may have and asked why. his reply was "he should be reported". i told him i would never have bought the dog WITH a tail and he just shrugged and did his job.

 

its a bit stupid really,wanting to castrate everthing that moves but not willing to dock a tail??
