new collar for mk1

when finishing up ferretin today i was taking my old mk1 collar of fert and the leather strap snapped in half,it was a bit worn anyway,now its not long enough to fit round ferts neck :censored: was wondering can i replace with a new leather collar,tried to take of old one but it doesnt seem to want to come of,HELP. :wallbash:

just buy a small collar mate,then pop rivet the remaining part of the original collar to it,jobs a good en :thumbs:

:D lol,well why can't i replace old with new,surely i must be able to take off all of old collar and put on new.im not saying that the pop rivet is a bad idea,its quite a good idea, but i would have liked to put on new collar ,this is my first finder so i have never had this problem before. :thumbs:

yes like the one said,i did it to one of mine about 2 years ago cut the resin down both sides collar will slide out,slide new one in then glue resin back in. thumbs.gif

 

 

clapper.gif new collar now fitted and it only took around 40mins from start to finish,yee haa boogie.gif
