boot/wellie suggestions

Recommended Posts

I need to get a decent pair of boots/wellies for walking, before i have always used my work boots but they have made me have shoes now so cant use them anymore. So i have been using my wellies in this wet weather but have found that if i waer them too long they are uncomfortable on the soles of my feet as they have a grille thing in the bottom to stop your feet getting wet.

So im looking for suggestions as i have bought a few cheap pairs recently but they have just fallen appart, idealy looking for something waterproof and quite high (as im one of those that finds puddles by standing in them  ) but comfortable.

Aye

I use Hunter Glen Affric boots instead of wellies. I also have a pair of Berghuas Storm gortex boots that I wear for most of the year, but you cant get them now and the replacement model is crap, so I have bought a pair of Mamut gortex lined leather boots. Mega comfy and look like they will last a s long as yer feet!.
