brog 670
"ok ill put a helmet on her next time, thanks for the advice." You would do well to listen to that advice, a stupidly hard dog is little or no use to all but the hardest most macho men. Give her easy quarry till she learns some respect, or she will have a considerably short working life. FTB ....... ........... Quote Link to post

dev 226
ill put pics up when i get the hang of this , but shes in ribbons and only been to ground afew times its her first season ive just noticed this post now.. Why wud u let get ur dog get cut up so bad in her 1st season? You'l dishearten her, keep her winnin in her 1st season n give her easy digs and for god sake dont be lettin her cut up in her 1st season.. dont be letting her get cut up in her first season???? what are you on about, what she does in the ground is up to her, he cant stop her getting cut only she can!! not over working her is one thing but if she gets cut up there is nothing he can do about it, its up to her to learn and use her voice.some learn some dont, at the end ogf the day she is a working terrier its comes with her job. wexford Pa 84
I never said u should wrap her in cotton wool, the man said she was in ribbons which wud indicate she took a good hiding.. So imo she was put to an earth not suitable for young dog in only her 1st season, if u get what i mean.. I think a young dog should be kept winnin as ur bringin them on.. Thats just my opinion.. ....
