bert69 5
I recently got into stalking and went out a few times with an experienced guy on some ground that i had permission on. I then went on my own a few times and accounted for a couple of roe does and a fallow pricket. I do enjoy stalking but do not wish to go out and kill loads of deer. Is there anybody in the kent area that would be interested in me helping them out with a cull or me getting a couple of stalks in return for doing some work/ fetching carrying whatever really. All i'm after is a bit of ground that i can stalk on everynow and then as my permission got wrecked by a stupid muppet taking over the sporting rights on the farms so i left the pheasant syndicate and the stalking is now done by someone else who does it for a living so no chance of getting even an infrequent permission on there now. Although i am relatively new to stalking i have been shooting all my life with rifles and shotguns. I would quite happily take out whoever may offer for a pint so we can chat. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and i'm sure if anyone can help me out they will be glad that they did. All the best, Luke. Quote Link to post

bert69 5
I am prepared to pay a yearly amount for ground rent and/or handover some carcases? I Just don't like this pay your money, walk round, maybe shoot one then its thanks very much bugger off oh and by the way its £x amount for you take some venison home. I want to be involved in the active management of a piece of ground; hedgework, clearing rides, building high seats, crop protection, foxing if necessary. Anybody? Quote Link to post
mubz2cool 4
i think the majority of people have to pay for there stalking one way or another, yes some very lucky ones get it for free but not v often. Have you thought about joining a stalking syndicate? Quote Link to post
