befour the ban we used to go corsing every sunday ,the bet would be anything from £500/1000, we would go more or less any where ,so you see it was elegal then,

the toffs with theyre ponies and hounds have a tougher time but its theyre own fault for making a spectacle out of something that is a benefit to the countryside! control is an essential part of the countryside, some folk deny that fact... fair enough, they are entitled to there opinion but to rub it in theyre faces by prancing about on horses was begging for trouble

the ban has'nt really effected the hunting community everyone i know that hunted before tha ban is still doing it and will continue to for genarations to come

Hare coursing on the fens , is the only thing that has really sufferd , hounds still hunt , lampers still lamp , and it only seems to be the coursing lads that end up in court........its a f*****g joke !!!!!!!!

well thats true TC but the hounds are suppoed to be drag hunting and when the dogs take after the scent of the real thing then thats when the antis catch it on camera... huntsmen are laughing now because there is so many loop holes but how long will that last.. if they bring out more rules then eventually lamping with lurchers and everything will come under more scrutiny, will it not??

your right old school , but it will take another 10 years for this imo, and as ew all no the ban isnt for the well being of the prey , its a class war , them on there big horses and posh talk ,thats were it all stems from , and we have all suffered , apart from them on horse back ??? it wont be them who go to court it will be the huntsman and the farmers .........lardy f*****g da ... you wont get me at another march .......

The Hare coursers copped it the worst, to the detriment of the hare. The fox hunting is a beautiful traditional sight of the country to see and although i do not participate, it was amazing to hear the hounds giving tongue!!

 

Only daytime running has suffered hard so of course its those two areas of the sport that got it hardest!!

 

Its just the hunting with hounds that got publicity out of it and so faired better!!

 

So the law just spices things up a bit!!!

 

Anyone hear about the retired copper turning himself in to the police cos his Jack Russel caught a mole and a mouse?!?!?!?!

i dont think it has changed it that much i know people who did hare coursing and still do it now.not as often but no matter what gets banned it is still going to go on no matter what
