Nice dogs mate! think you have thaT a little wrong stevie. Ye, lots of good accesible warrens but at this time of the year when the rabbits which are left are seasoned rabbits. seen it all, from ferreters to weasels to stoats etc and they dont want to budge.. These just arent digging into a hedgerow. These are digs to off the locator and much more. encountering limestone by the bucket full... And when you have a ferret that will only work shallow warrens(say to 12ft) you are basically in the shit in this part of the world. You need an all round ferret that doesnt mind the drop in temperature, lack of air etc. 90% of working ferrets dont like warrens of 12ft plus and when encounter one only work the upper reaches, so they never come accross a stopend, hence leaving rabbits in the warren.....
