fox-stoper 1 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) As this ever happen to you went out last night on a farm with my lurcher and went in to our first field lamped it then hear somthing comeing down the side wall turned around see a big rabbit if u no what i mean not even 1ft in front of me i could of kicked it my luircher was going mad she never like that and i wanted for it to run and my slip jamed and wouldnt slip i was tamping but then 10 mins down the line it slipped so bit gutted but when in to the next field had bunny but what rubbish nigh. has that ever happend to you what slip leads do you get thanks Edited February 21, 2010 by fox-stoper Quote Link to post

THE DEMON 93 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 that has happend to us out lamping one night and calling a fox we were walking up to a hill top then the fox came running right over the hill i mean it was about 2 feet in front of us my mate tryed to slip the dog but it was jammed dog thought it was of and tryed to run and floored my mate i was gutted it was a big dog fox it was abit funny after it all like but now i just use a bit of wrope good as any Quote Link to post
irish lassie09 7 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 yes happen the other nite we where out. we usually use long leads with no clicker or nothing on them so you can have the dog on or off slips. rabbit got up went to slip the dog and she was off slips by the time we got the lead opened rabbit was well gone oops Quote Link to post
