wirral countryman 2,110 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 you've gotta get out with as many decent lads with decent dogs and see what you think will suit your style of hunting,and will suit your personality and the land you hunt,loads of crosses out there don't limit yourself to what's in front of you,is the track greyhound off good stock with decent feet and plenty of wind?breed off two good working dog's and you stand half a chance at least. steveS.Yorks 161 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 Nearly every good lamp dog ive heard of has some beddy in there somewhere and the best ever round our way had a touch of beddy and collie,dont know percentages just your classic worker to worker bitsa's,buying pups thats parents are good on the lamp would be a good start imo,regardless of type.
