longnetter 32 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 Apart from when I was netting traditional style I've only ever used the Brinded quickset system and I've got to say that's probably as good as your going to get . Having said that it's worth trawling through old posts I'm sure I see a lad making these baskets and they were pretty good and cheap . As for the net I'd go for a 6z and buy a quick set style ready set up or a trad. net and set it up yourself (instructions at the top of this forum) where to buy Net Loft, Arthur Carters, Ian Hodge, Brinded, Bridport the list is endless Net Loft Brinded and Bridport are pretty good tho.
