Snoopy. 0
My dad got me into hunting many many moons ago lol. He was into his shotgun shooting and deer stalking and used to let me tag along with him when he was decoying woodies ect. He would always give me an unloaded 12 bore to carry around which i never used to understand untill i got older. He was just getting me used to a shotgun and teaching me how to go about holding one safely ect. When i was 14 i took my first wood pigeon with the 12' which nearly knocked me off my feet. Magical moments. And moments that shall stay with me forever. Snoop. Quote Link to post
LordGamebore 0
Been shooting on and off for over 30 years, but only got back into it properly a couple of years back but was only really shooting Pistols. Never thought I would become a hunter until I wound up with Rodents in the shed, they did a huge amount of damage and although I trapped two of them, I also shot 2 after they p!ssed me off with further very costly damage. Got one through the kneck with a classic Gamo .177 Sniper and then the next one fell to my beast. After that I took my beast down to some land and started putting rabbits out of the farmers misery for him. He never thanked me though but then he never knew about the favour I was doing for him Eventually got permission and the rest as they say is history. Phantom I used to always help the farmers out with their rabbit problem. I always did it at night so I didn't dusturb them LOL Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Been around air rifles all my life, learned from a very early age that they were things to be respected and not toys. Stated going out with my dad, then progressed on to carrying his HW35e about as soon as I could lug the bloody thing about without dropping it, when he took his shotgun and the spaniel out for a mooch!
