whippetwoman 0
For the last 5 days my dog has been limping on his front leg, he is a beddlingtonXwhippet and 9 months old, I dont know how he done it he just started limping, sometimes he doesn't sometimes he does, since I noticed it I have just taken him for short walks on the lead but it is driving him mad he needs to burn up energy (so do I), there is no swelling or redness anywhere but one of his paws does feel a little bit warmer than the other, I had another Lurcher who got a knocked up toe and I knew when he done it because he squealed alot, I was wondering if he had a thorn in it, has anyone got any suggestions?? I assume you have checked his pads for cuts and between them in webs,? if you can't find any sign of cuts or thorns in the pads it will be more than likely be an injury to a bone, you may have to take him to the vet, atb. leegreen 2,173
If its not better after a few days take it to someone. The local grehuond track or training tracks are best, let them give it a good old flex and sqeeze, these men are called bone men. Most will do it for nish, some will take a small fee. A good one is worth holding on to and always treat him at xmas etc. They are vital if you intend to keep running dogs for a lot of things, beleave me .
