kill um with crisps 7 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 Start off with a dummy. Dont bother going out and buying a proper gundog one, an empty fizzy drink bottle will do. Half fill it for weight and wrap a rabbit skin round it. Plenty of throwing the rabbit skin dummy for him to chase and catch and plenty of praise for each catch. Do you or a mate keep ferrets? If so that will give the pup plenty of opps to see rabbits running and hopefully to chase them too. If he catches any give shed loads of praise. Quote Link to post
