The one 8,512
My mate Pedro and i went to ferret a garden roughly four acres as the woman of the house wanted the rabbits sorted before she started putting her plants out , There's a few burrows about the place but the first rabbits the ferrets got where under trees and we couldn't get the spade in the ground ,Then we dug one out at three foot . I put two jills under a shed and after a bit the first rabbit bolted and i picked up one jill . i located the other jill under the boundry fence but every time i dug down i couldn't find the burrow and ended up trenching up the fence line ,Till it dawned on me the owner had a electric dog wire on the bottom fence wire and thats what the mk1 was picking up :wallbash:i had steam coming out my ears . we waited ages trying to locate that jill before pedro put his hob in and a bit later both ferrets walked out . We them did some burrows in the field to give the dogs a run and ended up with 5 hard won rabbits and a very good lesson learnt Edited February 19, 2010 by The one Quote Link to post
