rickyspringer 15
Hi all, Asking this question as brother in law's bitch has started a season, he finally wants a pup out of her and has homes lined up for the pups to mates. Will give you some info on the whole situation now, the bitch is a half cross pitt to a american bull. Very pitt looking just a little taller,he doesn't want to line her with a pitt as he doesn't want potential dogs he has bred being put to sleep, if the old bill or any other authority realise they are a banned breed. Now he has a Am-bull lined up to line her, I have done a little research and found out there is the chance of c-section when giving birth, especially with his bitch not being a full Am-Bull. Is this a serious risk of happening?? Logic tells me it is but would like that bit more info on the subject> especially from you bull breeders on here. Thanks RS. PS if it was me I wouldn't be using a Am-Bull on her, and I don't want the thread being ruined by people who have no good advice to say, or anything constructive. Thanks
sh 08 17
just be careful mate the bloke in the country mans cant shift his pups so id think before you breed to be honest. it will only attract the wrong type of person also.
rickyspringer 15
tell me about it mate, no point in the breeding but she's not my dog and he has waited 4 or 5 years and now he wants a pup. They will all end up with his mates, so homes are sorted but the thing is will they be good homes. Just need a little info on the C-Section as this will put him off, if its a high probabilty. Thanks pal

dafydd thomas 13
c sections arent all that much to worry about even if the need arises, lab of mine had one last year and cost £250 which wasnt too bad and she made a full and rappid recovery atb dt
JackWard 0
just be careful mate the bloke in the country mans cant shift his pups so id think before you breed to be honest. it will only attract the wrong type of person also. If there the same ones i seen in a blue advertisement, they look more like labradors than bulldogs. Take a look at the REAL american bulldogs http://www.johndjohnsonkennels.com/
