iamduvern 62
hi lads just a questions what are the nets like from advanced netting and what would say about useing 4z netting or would it just be easyer and better to use 6z? I prefer the heavier 6oz dont seem to get so many tangles although I work mainly scrubland and 6oz suits me I suppose if you are lucky enough to work lush green meadows then 4oz could be for you!! longnetter 32
Advanced Netting stuff is as good as you're going to buy anywhere mate - mainly because most of what you buy anywhere is from Advanced Netting - if you're unsure I'd go for 6z you can't go far wrong with this stuff really . bradbury2522 0
i was thinking of getting 4z but sum1 told me that if a fast rabbit hits it hard enough it would break thats what puting me off the 4z Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986
i was thinking of getting 4z but sum1 told me that if a fast rabbit hits it hard enough it would break thats what puting me off the 4z I have 4z net that is over 20 years old and no rabbit has ever broken a mesh by hitting it. Many have chewed through the net, but that would be the same with a 6z. You need a net to tangle rabbits up. the thicker the twine the less chance of them tangling. TC Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
I'll go with every word of that Quote Link to post
andy mecca 5
4z picks up more rubbish 6z will do you fine as tercel said earlier rabbits will chew meshes if they are not dispatched quickly you could throw a sheep at 4z and not break a mesh just make sure you have enough bagging in whatever net you choose ATB ANDY Quote Link to post
