PEST CONTROL

Recommended Posts

found our selfs back to a spot we control, first we tried afew earths on a dyke side that we have had afew from but with no luck, we then drove round to a spot thats next to the lambing field on a little dyke side, we havnt had any luck from these little earths before but after walking up them the lurcher we had with us gave us a mark in a 2 holer, so guns ready we let the terrier of, with in mins she was on, we let her settle hoping for a bolt but after 20 mins with out movement we decided to drop a hole, only 3/4ft that was fairly compacted soil then last ft sand, we broke through to a little bit pissed of dog fox that was humanly dispatched, as we were back filling the farmer turned up and was happy with our result as they lost afair few game birds during the season but couldnt control the fox as there abit lamp shy in the area, so earth work is the only real way to try to get on top of them abit, we then drove to a fairly big earth thats next to a game crop, the lurcher gave us another mark so in with the terrier, she got the run about for a good 40 mins before she settled at around 3ft, i couldnt hear any baying or banging about but decided to drop a hole, after braking through she was digging on, should of gave her abit longer realy, anyway i let her push her self on and she got about another 10/12ft further on and then the f****r bolted but i was too busy f*****g about on the floor and ALBERT who i was with couldnt get a safe shot at it, the lurcher gave it a good run through a set of small trees but lost it through thick cover, never mind we'll be back for another look shortly, heres afew pics
