i was just wondering is there a wright and wrong place to enter a ferret when working an enbankment i always enter at the bottom was just wondering what others would do

i always start the bottom and work up depending on how big the sett is i would put more than 1 ferret in, at different locations

start at the top, let the fert work down, rabbits are far more likly to bolt downwards and out, than bolting out at the top and running up

i start at the bottom my self but dont think it matters to much, i use small jills so they bolt more then likely any where i put her atb jamie

As said before - start at the top and if using more than one ferret - top and edges of the set.

Depending how big it is i like to start at one end. Put a ferret in top middle and bottom just to try and push the rabbits all the same way.

Exactly what ive found. !

Ive always worked embankment warrens from the top ,A ferret finds it easier to work down rather than running up , its easyier work for them.
