activeviii 8
hiya, he is under the gun with me most days, even if its just a walk around the farm and the odd pigeon over head. he had had a few days in the hide on the pigeons with me. flushed 4 ducks this winter for me and retrieved from water in the snow after, 4 shots, 4 ducks and all tasted great. he has flushed the pheasants for me and the odd woodcock but them i have left be as i like to see the woodcock. done a days picking up with him but he isnt sure about the pheasant but in time he should come around like he does on the pigeons. he comes out on the foxes with the 222 and on the rabbits with the hmr, i only let him near the rabbits as fleas i can handle but mange i dont want him getting. he is booked into hartpury collage with me for a 6 week course just so i can sort a few little niggles i have and then i will put him in for the advance course afterwards. the only real problem i have with him it the thorns, bl00dy loads of them all over him, every time you stroke him you fine a few oh and barb wire fence cuts, he just dont care....... he's as mad as a box of frogs.
