hi all i have a 1/2 beddy,1/2 whippet pup shes 4 month old and she stands at 16tts i was just wondering if she will get any taller and also if she could maybe catch hares,fox and also deer thanks.

hi mate she could make to about 19 21 tts depending on size of dogs in past gen take rabbit and fox but id say definate no no to deer not big are strong enough wouldnt mind seeing a couple of pics has ive just lined my laguna bitch to my beddy dog and im thinking of keeping a couple back cheers

How tall are the parents and is it a non ped whippet its out of??

good x mate for rabbits and the odd hare possible depending on how fit and quick it is.if its proper game then it mite pull charly down but wether its strong enough to hold it is another story but deer will just pull it along the flood i think.there are exceptions to this rule i bet thow.all this woould be pre ban as you wouldnt admit breaking the law on a public forum atb with it whatever you do

I have a 50/50 cross the dam is 17tts and the Sire is 19.5tts she is a bitch and at 7 months she is 18.5tts. I can't see her putting on anymore height if I'm honest. At seven months she is still yet to catch a rabbit but she has got close a couple of times. She has got closer on pheasants and will leap into the air after them which I love to see. I just use her for daytime mooching and I'm pleased with her progress to dqate. To be honest though I think shes a little on the lite side for Fox or deer and not got the pace for hare. I do know of a guy recently who sh*t himself when his 15 month old bitch pulled down a smallish monkjack. His bitch is 15 months and must be just shy of 20tts.... LOL he was just out after rabbits.

i had a first cross.sire was pure beddy and dame was pure whippet.and she only made 17".ok for rabbits.but no chance of taken fox.

I've got a 22" 50/50 at about 14 months. His sire's the same size and I saw him handle Charlie regularly pre ban. Not done it with mine though, but I reckon he's got the fire to handle them if it was legal.
