Airgunner2010 1
how do i test for an air leak on my air arms s200 as i think its losing air Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. Short of sticking in the bath and watching for bubbles after it's filled, if you fill it and it's loseing pressure then you've got a leak. Cheers. Edit to say... Why do you think it's leaking? garfield 23
under the amount of pressure its filled to you "should" be able to hear a leak "but" sometimes if its a small seal then its not all-ways detectable how many shots you getting??? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
What i did with my Air Arms S310 was to fill it and then leave it over night. I then checked it the next day to see that it had leaked . I dont know any other way pal. Si Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Your filling it up close to the max, I find that the Sweet spot in the power curve for my S200 is about 175. So I usually fill to 180 then let off a few shots. If I fill above that, the gun seems to be very 'under-powered' and inconsistent. Is that why you think its got a leak by any chance? Reason I ask is because I though the same for a while then I found that once it was at about 175 the power seemed to raise dramatically and shot to shot consistancy was very good giving me 30 to 40 shots before I had to start filling again Phantom Edited February 19, 2010 by Phantom Quote Link to post
