Update - Ollie the Black Lab

I thought I'd post a couple of pics from today when we were at the park. I'd got him inocculated and I'd had him on a short lead at the park a few times and we're just getting to know the walkers and dogs. I've let him off a couple of times but he's only coming back to recall when he's not distracted so I chose my moments when he's being good.

 

He will sit almost everytime I tell him but it's up and down on the rest of the commands like down, heel and roll over. If I get him to sit I can tell him to stay as I back away from him and I have been stretching this distance to say 10m now which is pretty decent. Also in the house I'm telling him to stay then going out of sight like round a door and he's starting to stay put when he can't see me.

 

I might stick a couple of vids of me doing training up to see whether people think I'm getting it right.

Well done mate, seems like your having a good time and your doing some play training sow well done on that, he looks a cracker Nik, how is he behaving around the house and how has life been since you have had him??
