Hi mate the reason you missed at the close range was probably due to your rifle being zeroed at 50 yards.

This is far to far and leaves the kill zone area really quickly over your rifles trajectory.

I have checked my ballistic software and entered the settings for a .177 rifle set at 11.49 ft/lbs using a 10.5 grain pellets withy a 25mm kill zone size.

If you now zero at 32 yards you will stay within your kill zone along your trajectory from 8 yards right out to 32 yards.

Needing only the slightest bit of hold over at 45 yards

I hope that this helps you pal

It will ensure that you hit the close and long range bunnies

Hi Si,

Many Thanks for your reply, I thingk I will take some targets with me and spend some time re-zeroing the scope before I go out next. Dose it make any difference turning the dial by the eye piece. I know it zooms the scope in and out but will this effect the zero? Sorry I know its a bit of a daft question.

Thank you for taking the time to help.
