BSA Hornet .177 flavour

Recommended Posts

Well thanks to those that helped out with PMs and replies in a few threads re this rifle I was offered 2nd hand.

Ended up paying £150 for rifle, BSA scope mounts, a Weihrauch Silencer and a pump none of which has been used all in orginal packaging. The lad was given it as a present 2 years ago by his Dad but never used it and needed the cash in a hurry.

New scope for it arriving tomorrow. Ramsbottom 3-9 x 50 and a rifle slip from same whole package comes in at just under £200 with a few tins of pellets.

Now if only I could get the bloody pump to work :( Seems to be leaking air rather than pumping......Still Im sure Ill work it out tomorrow.

Ill throw up some pics when its all assembled.

thats a great price for all the kit you got. with regards to the pump, simple thing to check is the bleed valve closed can be an oversight. If its not that check everything from the pump to the adapter are tight with un-damaged orings where the joins are. if that doesnt work then a call to the maker should help solve the problem.

hope that helps Adam
