What is the best type of Longnet kit for a beginner

Hi,

 

I am new to longnetting and want to purchase some kind of longnet kit/basket. I would appreciate any advise on the type of kit to purchase with regards to net material, sizes etc, also any recommendation on where to purchase such a kit would be appreciated.

I have used the Brinded quickset basket for several years now and I'm well pleased with it . I prefer 50yd nets ,I got 3, find they're more versatile

2 6z and 1 4z tbh there's not much to choose between them . As a beginner I'd probably go for a 6z tho, altho I'm happy enough with the 4z but (with all due respect) i've had more experience than you
