tonyh 1 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 (edited) Mick Dadds spun poly nets are the best iv seen, and i use those along with a few hemp nets, going to knit my on over the summer months i think! heard a few times about M.Dadds,have you a contact number or any info about his gear,cheers ATB Tony :thumbs:p.s. might be a silly question ,but is the knitting method the same for hemp,poly or nylon? nessie122 0 Posted March 3, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 hi i agree have some of mick dadds nets aswell there great give him a ring Did the purse nets that Mick Dadd made for you have sliders on them, he made me 10 poke nets with sliders and also made me 20 purse nets, he put a slider on them as well, never seen them on a purse net before but I think Mick says they purse better and he normally uses them on purse nets as well. Yes, Mick does make a quality Net Mick has just made me 40 4' Nets on heavy 1" 1/4 Rings and 10 5' Poke Nets on Sliders Did the purse nets that Mick Dadd made for you have sliders on them, he made me 10 poke nets with sliders and also made me 20 purse nets, he put a slider on them as well, never seen them on a purse net before but I think Mick says they purse better and he normally uses them on purse nets as well. The 10 Poke Nets have a slider on both ends. The standard Purse Nets have a heavy 1 1/4 inch Ring on both ends. He sent me a sample of a Net with a slider on one end and a ring on the other, i asked for a Ring each end and i am very happy with the Nets Mick made me Quote Link to post
