What are the best type of purse nets

That was an interesting thread, curious how different people have such contrasting opinions on net making materials ranging from good old fashioned hemp to 21st century spun poly .

 

pm me mate I do decent 3'6" 10z nets for a £1 each +p&p

i will vouch for them nets i had forty off him an there spot on,and yes i do have some nets off mick dadd,they all catch rabbits regardless but if your on a tight budget 10z nylon is more than adequate, :thumbs:

I want to find out what is the best materials for purse nets regardless of cost and also what the opinions are on the best size for these nets, also any recommendations on where to purchase.

Hemp mate, Ive used them for years. They never tangle, and just a quick shake gets rid of any leaves or twigs stuck when you lift the net.

The only downside is that they are pretty bulky, heavy when wet, and need hung up to dry whenever they get wet or they rot pretty quickly.

where is the best to get my net making supplies from . and iv dun sum hemp nets but the hemp sumtimes snaps as i pull it tight :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: im thinking of useing 10z spun polly next lot i make but where is best place to get supplies :whistling:
