curry maggots

Recommended Posts

Never tried curried maggots before, there now on my list for when the summer comes. i think the best advice for anyone would be to go down to your local fishery that you intend to fish on and ask around see what flavours people are using and dont use any of them, use something thats never been used on there before and you should be impressed with the results. ive used this method a few times before to great sucsess, i just asked what flavour boilies people were using and no one said tutti fruttie to my supprise and they were all using savoury flavours so i tried those glugged tutti fruttie boilies from a can and what a night that was :victory: .

Curry is ussually used in winter not so effective in summer,in summer use ground cinnamon powder, keeps your maggots from sweating up and most fish seem to like it,works well on reds for some reason.
