Endgame 68 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 (edited) i have a 9 month old beddy x and has doing okay took to the lamp great , ive had about 6 bunnies with him so far i made sure not to give him to much & last night i was out and he jacked in on 2 rabbits , he coursed 1 for ages about 30 minutes before and killed it , then on the last 2 he just stopped , on the first he ran his legs of then just ran along side it and stopped same with the second ...... this is the first time ive ever had this and the last thing i wanted , would appreciate some advice from any off the lads on here who know what they talkin about cos its got me baffled . thanks dean ARSENAL KNOW THAT UR DOG MAY APPEAR OLD ENOUGH WITH ITS BREEDING, BUT WHAT MAKES ANY DOG IS SUCCESS & GETTING FUR IN ITS MOUTH. CHECK IT 4 INJURIES WITH [bANNED TEXT] QUALIFIED & KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.THEN ID LET IT MATURE A BIT [bANNED TEXT] COS THE RABBITS ARE FLYING JUST NOW & GIVE IT ITS CONFIDENCE BACK WITH A FEW MUGS LATER IN YEAR. the night hunter 130 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 well to be honest i think the dog is far to young to be running the lamp like that. the dog isnt yet physicaly mature let alone mentaly. ferretin or leting him watch other dogs on the lamp. and then once the corn is up enough to give the bunnies something to squat in pick out the good ones and sure once his confidence is back up you will be ok. unless hes just a shi++er. best luck Quote Link to post

lightforcelamper 2 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 hiya pal have u bee walking the dog eveyday . i have an 10 month old pup and in the past 3 month he has killed over 40 rabbits . i take himmowt every day somtimes for a long walk and some just on the local field . what im trying say is even tho its apup u can have to make them as strong as u possibley can for ther age .. its no good leaving it in run and expectig it to kill atb pal Quote Link to post

Cheers. well said sounds asif the pup has just had a bit too much. keep him off the rabbits for a while, a few weeks or a month then try again just one or two slips on ones you think he will catch Quote Link to post
