My T3 Lite .223 has Predator 8 Compact

My T3 Hunter .243 has Predator 8 Compact

My 700SPS .308 has Predator 8 Compact

So, I sort of think think the Predator 8 Compact offers a package I can live with!!

Lots out there though so you will no doubt get a mixture of views, and it usually stands to reason that most people think what they have got is the best!!!

HI a question for deker i take it you like the predator 8!! what price are they? and weight wise do they feel balanced could you put a pic on cheers

Weight wise get the COMPACT version, saves about 170g on the normal version, same baffle set, same diameter, just shorter.

You will not notice any difference in sound reduction over the full length version up to and including .308, at least I don't, I started with the Full length and converted my first to the Compact, I then bought 2 more Compacts.

Please note, I do not suggest these are the best sound reduction mods out there, but they are not at all bad and I rate them as perfectly adequate for my needs, they are also "lightish" compared to some and not expensive compared to some! Oh yes, they are fully strippable and you can get all the parts as spares, hence why I managed to convert my full length version to a Compact!!!

Don't know the current price, last time I looked it was about £220-£225 I think, but there are always deals to be had, I paid less than £200 for all mine...fitted!!!

Pictures....Flippen 'ek...give me a few minutes!!!!!

And NO ..I don't work for Andrew Banner!!!

Best I could do quickly, I don't have a camera, these are with the phone...

My T3 Lite .223 Predator 8 Compact

My T3 Hunter .243 Predator 8 Compact

My 700SPS .308 Predator 8 Compact

The tube you can see just below the T3 Lite at the top is the sleeve from a Full length P8 and fits about where it would, the baffle stack at the front is identical, so this shows how much longer (and heavier) the mod is in full length version!!

Edit....Balance wise it took me about 2 years to sort the T3 Lite, that's what led me to the Compact P8 to start with, the T3 Hunter is straight out of the box and the 700SPS had about 3" cut off the barrel, the balance on all 3 is VERY good now!!!

I've got the full length wildcat and it really does make the rifle front heavy. Deker how much does it cost to get it converted to a compact model?

Thanks

got the ase and its superb. not big like the over barrel mods. dont mark the barrel like most of them do. and there really soild build. ive had mine close to 3 years now and not a mark on it. it fixed so cant strip it down. but you look down the baffles and there is never any gunk in the way.

Quite heavy though I seem to remember, not that you'd notice it on your cannon 8)
