When they tell you its type of breed.how can you prove this breed.Do you go to the main man himselfeg.k gould,n.stevens,j parks ect.etc.just to be 100% sure and pay £££££. desertdog 149 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 id sooner go to a lad iknow works his stuff,than by from a big name, after all its only a nsme and when these top names are dead, they wont be remembered for their working dogs or what they have put into the working terrier, it,ll be the show stuff that shines from them. wirral countryman 2,110 Posted February 15, 2010 Report Share Posted February 15, 2010 got to be off two known worker's of the type you require,preferably someone local you know of or a mate can guarrantee seeing them work,I have travelled up and down the country in the past 40 yrs to buy the right dog though,you can normally tell a lot from the parent's,we all like a dog that's easy on the eye but work is what counts 100% Quote Link to post
