country-kid 2 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 hi i was wondering if there are any calls that you can make at home easily and cheaply. i seen a video onmaking a magpie call and all it was was a pellet in an old vitamins tub that you shake to attrcat magpies. i dontknow if this works but im gonna give it a go. are there any other calls you can do easily eg goose? duck? pigeon? jay? etc cheers paul Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You can do the same thing with a bit of beech about 1 1/2 inch in diameter, split it down the middle, cut a small notch most of the way along the middle of 1 of the pieces, put the tape through and tape up the 2 ends.
